The East – West School of Classic Chinese Medicine was established and operates under the inspiration of ancient traditional Chinese medicine. Since then, its primary goal has been to train top-flight therapists, clinicians and researchers in the best way possible.

Chinese medicine is based on the perception of health as a dynamic humanist system that comprises a broad spectrum ranging from energy to the material. This complex perception allows clinicians who have graduated from our school to explore patients' spiritual existential fabric and to diagnose the disorder that led them from a healthy to an unhealthy condition.

Chinese medicine is more than a profession – it is a way of life. Accordingly, the school's curriculum grants you tools that are both knowledge-based and that nurture sensory and spiritual awareness. Students at East – West confront an impressive intellectual challenge that entails a profound understanding of theoretical and practical material.

Our curriculum has been meticulously planned and perfected by renowned experts, drawing on years of interdisciplinary academic research and unequalled clinical practice. East – West trains you to work on graduation in frameworks combining Eastern and Western medicine, applying an approach of mutual respect for both schools. It is reflected in the inherent advantages that each therapeutic approach offered, which provides patients with comprehensive solutions.

The school's multi-year curriculum has a unique structure, unlike any other learning track currently offered in Israel and the western world. As a result, East – West has received official recognition from the national administration of Chinese medicine in the Republic of China.

As a student, you will be thoroughly trained in every aspect of Chinese medicine – the philosophical background underlying the development of the concepts of medicine, health and sickness, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, physiotherapy, and the distinctive research methods of Chinese medicine.

As a pioneering institution, the East – West school collaborates with well-known institutions abroad on joint research studies and further studies; at a later stage, student and teacher exchanges also take place. In addition, the school is currently considering joint ventures with Israeli medical centers, to create appropriate training environments for its students. The school maintains direct professional ties with hospitals in China, which train therapists for advanced qualifications in Chinese medicine. As part of the study track, students are trained by experts from China and Israel during a period of intensive study in hospitals, where they undergo theoretical and applied training and experience Chinese culture and medicine in the site where it developed, thrived and has operated for over 4,000 years.

After completing the initial study track, the school expects its graduates to continue their studies in further courses – aimed at providing complete professional qualifications in their chosen specialization. The school teaches and qualifies a cadre of thinkers, top-rank clinicians and researchers who will become part of Chinese medicine world-wide.

Come and join this fascinating and unique program through which you'll acquire a profession that has become an integral part of contemporary life – where supplementary medicine is assuming a more central role alongside conventional medicine.
